Cloudz white papers review:

‘Roll your loud with a cloud’ is the company slogan, and that’s great marketing. Its dramatic and conjures up all kinds of smoky joy. And upon opening a pack that’s actually how you feel, being greeted by vibrant yellow, orange and full rainbow-spectrum roach book. Its energetic and you can’t help but be taken in by their youthful hues. The outer packaging gleams at you in the light, inviting you to a good time.

Each paper feels sturdy in hand- Thin, but not so thin that it’ll crumble with just a few touches (Rizla silver being the fiend I am mentally comparing to). The paper sits comfortably between your fingers, and is etched with thin lines down the side, making sure you can line it straightly by eye. These papers are created using a unique blend of wood pulp and fibers, boasting all natural, and vegan friendly gum (which I have now learned is becoming more commonplace).

They burn well and evenly (with even the gum eventually catching up and disintegrating to nothing) if a little faster than their hemp counterparts. They leave little to no ash at all, giving the cleanest possible burn, and the surface for testing was left free of any residue. This is uncommon for papers, most usually leave a small amount of oil on the slate after the burn test. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I will admit, I’ve consumed about 8 packs of these over the last few weeks, and I must say I’m a fan of the consistency. I’ve not had any papers arrive stuck together or missing gumline. None have been stuck in the pack or come out awkwardly. Consistency really seems to be a key detail for the manufacturers.

The packaging is jubilant and bright and enticing. The roach book is a lot of fun, and I love the quality of the papers. Overall I find myself returning to these papers (they’re for sure in my top 3 rolling papers-ever) not just for these reasons, but for the level of quality they provide, and the knowledge each skin-up is going to be perfect and nothing is going to waste. At a standard rate price, I cannot recommend these papers highly enough. I love the white papers but other types of papers are available in this line- Rainbow papers (each paper is a different colour, meaning you can colour match to your roach or have two different colours entirely!), pink papers, hemp papers (I wonder if you can guess what these are made from?) and brown colour.
